About Practice On The Ground

Practice On The Ground is my vehicle to offer mindfulness teachings, workshops, coaching, and mentorship which are grounded in efforts that create positive global impact. I donate 100% of my teaching fees toward charitable causes that address five core missions:

  1. Addressing climate change

  2. Stopping the sixth mass extinction

  3. Empowering and educating women+ and girls

  4. Addressing global poverty

  5. Funding BIPOC-led environmental initiatives

I also teach an eight-week Mindful Leadership class which offers an Emerging Women+ Leadership Scholarship to 25% of participants, and donates the other 75% to the above five core causes.

*Women+ refers to women, transgender, non-binary, and intersex-identifying people. My teachings are informed by an LGBTIQ+ and BIPOC allyship-lens. I’m trained in trauma-informed mindfulness approaches and certified by Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield as a Mindfulness Meditation Teacher, with training in Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility principles.

Groups…

Guided meditations are tailored to fit who attends, and what the group needs. Trauma-informed facilitation creates spaces of respect, repair, and invites a deepening of resilience, self-care, and wellbeing.

One on one…

With an emphasis on meeting you where you’re at, my goal is to help you find the practices that work best for you, to awaken a deeper knowing of your strengths and superpowers.
